Cylindrical, wrap-around planters made with natural stoneware, 'cardboard effect' clay.

The planters are left unglazed on the outside. The decorative relief design wraps around the pot and is whitewashed with a layer of porcelain slip to enhance the textured detail. The inside of the planter is glazed for water-tightness.

Each plant pot is hand-built, slightly irregular and boasts great personality. Due to handmade nature of the product there may be slight variation and irregularities in size and colour. The pots are made out of slabs, the seam where the slabs are attached is slightly visible on each pot. Plants not included.

SUGGESTED USE:

Planters have no drainage holes; therefore they are most suitable for indoor use. They would be strong enough to use outdoors but they will collect rainwater.

Low watering plants- cacti and succulents can be planted directly into pots. For any other type of plant, it's best to keep the plant in the original plastic pot and place it into the ceramic planter.
